1. Introduction

Welcome to Eureghub ("the Service"), operated by Mefnet ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our platform, you ("the User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Eureghub is a compliance assistance tool designed to help enterprises prepare documentation required by European Union regulations, including:

• EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR 2023/1115) – Due Diligence Statements (DDS)
• Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM 2023/956) – declarations and tariff calculations
• REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006) – substance compliance declarations
• RoHS Directive (EU 2011/65) – hazardous substance declarations

The Service assists with calculations and document generation based on data provided by the User. It does not replace legal advice or guarantee compliance with any regulation.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of all data you input into the Service.
• You are responsible for verifying all generated documents before submitting them to any regulatory authority.
• You must ensure you have the right to provide any third-party data (supplier information, geolocation data, substance data).
• You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. No Legal or Compliance Guarantee

IMPORTANT: Eureghub is an assistance tool only. We do not:

• Guarantee that documents generated by the Service will be accepted by EU authorities
• Provide legal, tax, or regulatory advice
• Assume liability for fines, penalties, or sanctions imposed on the User
• Verify the accuracy of data entered by the User

The User bears full and exclusive responsibility for all submissions to regulatory bodies and any consequences arising therefrom.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that satellite or third-party API data are accurate, or that generated documents meet specific national requirements of individual EU member states.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eureghub and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including fines or penalties from regulatory authorities, loss of profits or business opportunities, or damage to reputation. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Data and Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party APIs (e.g., Global Forest Watch for satellite deforestation analysis, Stripe for payments). We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or legality of data provided by these third parties.

9. Payment and Credits

• Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
• Credits are non-refundable unless required by law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service for fraudulent purposes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable national law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction where we operate.
